    Peanut Butter & Co. faced a common but critical challenge: their email marketing program had become stale and was no longer driving growth. The Klaviyo-based program had been managed internally for several years, and without updates to the strategy and best practices, email performance had declined over time. Deliverability issues loomed due to an overgrown list, and without a clear segmentation strategy, emails were no longer reaching or resonating with their audience. Rebuilding momentum required an audit of their email infrastructure—something that needed to be done quickly but strategically.

    To address these issues, we started by reviewing historical email performance data to identify what had worked and where drop-offs occurred. We cleaned the list to remove unengaged contacts, protecting deliverability and improving open rates. A new segmentation strategy was implemented based on engagement and purchase behavior, allowing for more relevant targeting. We re-established a regular sending cadence, rebuilt key automations from welcome to post-purchase, and developed a month-by-month email marketing calendar with a mix of product promos, recipes, and seasonal campaigns.
